She received her early education in Portsmouth and Chesapeake VA and her undergraduate studies at the historic Shaw University in Raleigh N.C. where, in 1973, she received her B.A. degree in Elementary Education.

November 1, 1974, was a red-letter day, Olliette married Ronnie D. Joyner a Baptist Minister and they were blessed with two sons, Elder Ronnie D. Joyner II and Pastor Julian Leville Von Joyner.

Lady Joyner produces a monthly curriculum for The Family Legacy “GoodNews” Letter. She has authored the ministering booklet titled “Spiritual Nuggets” which has inspired many to think Godly before acting humanly.

Lady Joyner loves to interact with people wherever she goes, and especially her church congregation and other ministers' wives.

She believes in and supports her husband’s ministries and daily does all she can to make whatever he does a Godly Success.

Of equal passion is Lady Olliette’s work with the women of her church. To help empower them, to feel good about themselves and know that with God all things are possible, she strives daily in this ministry. Her most favorite words to them are “Let’s Stay Connected.”
